How many sessions do I need?

This will depend on your aesthetic goals, treatment and your treatment plan.

Is there any downtime required ?

This depends on the type of peel, as each differs in strength and how your skin responds. Superficial peels are ideal before an event. Some may experience mild flaking and skin peeling which is normal.

What to expect during the peel?

The skin is thoroughly cleansed with an appropriate cleanser first. The skin is then prepared for application of the peel.

The chemical peel solution is then applied to the face. The procedure is timed, and you will be asked about your comfort level. Depending on the peel that is used, neutralisation of the peel may occur at the end of the treatment. This ensures the chemical peel does not stay active on the skin for longer than necessary.

The chemical peel is completed with a hydrating mask and application of medical grade professional products for enhanced results.

How to prepare for a peel?

Do I need a patch test?

We recommend a patch test at least 24 hours prior to the peel. It is best to perform this at the pre-peel consultation, which is usually 2 weeks before the first peel.
